Speaking

I offer a free 45-minute presentation with Q&A titled “ADHD in Real Life: When What You See Doesn't Tell the Whole Story”. Designed for PTSAs, schools, and community organization, the presentation is for anyone curious to learn more about ADHD and how it shows up in everyday life. I also share practical ways parents can think about expectations, support, accountability, and growing independence when ADHD is part of the picture.

ADHD in Real Life: When What You See Doesn't Tell the Whole Story -

My talk explores the many ways ADHD can affect a child’s or teen’s everyday life, including patterns that are easy to overlook or misunderstand.

Participants learn why a child may know what to do and have the ability to do it yet struggle to access that ability reliably. The presentation examines what may be happening beneath the behavior and how attention, action, memory, motivation, emotion, and energy can affect every day functioning.

Participants leave with practical ways to respond more effectively while supporting their child.
